The debut release of Petrichoir - a Ten and Tracer side-project.
As I've been releasing and performing music for well over a decade - and this alias/material is a response to the ideas and philosophies built up over that time. It's about experimenting in completely different ways, letting things be, letting things ride, head-nodding, neck-snapping, clicka-clacking, time-for-snacking. Believe it.

I often jokingly refer to this style as 'Turboblaze' - a reference to the state-of-mind and philosophy involved in the production of Petrichoir musics. It's a mechanism for liberating myself from my own analysis and standards that I feel are paramount to Ten and Tracer. But I don't always feel inclined to make such music, or to repeatedly work towards a particular type of end.

This became more evident to me in the latter '00s. Equally evident was the resulting inhibition or lack of inspiration I felt when I considered such goals upon starting a new track. I began these 'turboblazed' sessions as a means to keep momentum with my creativity. Within such sessions, I would adopt a different perspective, extinguish certain aspirations, silence pretension, squander my grandiose plans - basically become a different person altogether - no matter how divergent or even completely hypocritical it may have been.
